"Focus on quality, not quantity" is comforting advice that lets people post twice a month and blame the algorithm. "Just post more" is the opposite trap. The real answer refuses to pick a side — because the two aren't actually opposed.
The false choice
Quality and quantity feel like a trade-off because your time is fixed. But they compound: you can't produce quality consistently without reps, and reps without any standard is just noise. You need volume to find your voice and standards to make the volume count.
Volume first, then taste
Early on, quantity wins. You don't yet know what resonates, and no amount of polishing a guess fixes that. Post often, watch what lands, and let the data teach you. Your tenth post is better than your first not because you tried harder, but because you learned.
You can't edit your way to a voice you haven't found yet. Reps come first.
Where quality actually lives
Quality isn't polish — it's usefulness and point of view. A rough post with a sharp idea beats a beautiful post that says nothing. Once you know what resonates, raise the standard on substance, not production value.
Make volume cheap so quality gets your time
The trick is to spend less effort on logistics so more goes to thinking. Batch and queue the mechanical part — smart scheduling — and reserve your energy for the idea in each post. High volume, defended standards, minimal overhead: that's the resolution.
Stop debating quality versus quantity. Get the reps, keep the standard, automate the rest.
Put this on autopilot.
